Government advocacy priorities | September 2026

Safe places.
Active children.
A connected community.

Coburg North Primary School Council is seeking targeted Victorian Government action on three connected priorities that protect children now and prepare our community for future growth.

Our priorities

Three practical investments with daily impact

Each priority has a clear government pathway and a measurable benefit for students, families and the wider Coburg North community.

One connected outcome

A safer, healthier and more connected Coburg North

  1. 1

Fund urgent hall renewal through the Department of Education and VSBA capital works pathways.

  2. 2

Scope and fund the outdoor precinct as a daily school asset with managed community use.

  3. 3

Set a crossing delivery pathway led by DTP with Merri-bek City Council before the kindergarten opens.

Ready to progress

We welcome an on-site meeting

The school can provide facility assessments, photographs, supporting correspondence, community-use evidence and local active-travel data. We invite government representatives to visit CNPS, inspect the sites and agree the responsible agency, next decision point and delivery timeframe for each priority.
